Joseph Gartland Moore is a recognizable force in San Francisco’s luxury real estate market. He’s been at it since 1987 and has always been amongst the very top agents in The City. He prides himself on his local knowledge, personal service, marketing prowess, and refined negotiating skills.

Joe has worn many hats in his real estate career representing buyers and sellers and co-founding the much respected boutique brokerage firm - Ritchie Hallanan Real Estate, LTD. As Managing Principal of Ritchie Hallanan he directed its extensive marketing campaigns, managed numerous difficult transactions, and became even more experienced in the real estate brokerage business.

His solid reputation and close associations within the local brokerage community gives him access to timely and valuable information about properties and current market trends. With those insights, his clients have the opportunity to make very successful transactions. Often times, when privacy is an issue, he can accomplish “off-market”  transactions through his wide network of friends and colleagues.

Joseph Gartland Moore is a life long, third generation native San Franciscan, who grew up in Presidio Heights. He presently lives in San Francisco with his wife of 31 years and has three grown children. He was educated locally attending St. Ignatius College Prep, Santa Clara University, and Menlo College School of Business Administration.

Joe comes from a large family many of whom are active in San Francisco business, cultural, charitable, and civic affairs. He’s served on numerous charitable and cultural boards, including the San Francisco Boys and Girls Club, Columbia Park Boys and Girls Club, Saint Brendan Men’s Club (President, ‘94-‘96), Salvation Army Advisory Board, and the Guardsmen (President ‘92-‘93). Joe is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® (SFAR) and the Top Agent Network.

His Luxury affiliations include Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, Luxury Portfolio, and The Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.
