Mine is not the usual real estate agent's story. Growing up in Los Angeles, I got my start working in the film industry—from local TV news, to public relations, script supervising, to producing small independent films like The Rain People, and even a few major motion pictures along the way too.
This unique and exciting journey eventually led to the creation of American Zoetrope, an independent studio started in the early 1970s, headquartered not in Hollywood but rather San Francisco’s South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood. As part of the production crew and then a producer at American Zoetrope, I was part of the team responsible for making classics like: The Godfather, The Godfather II, Apocalypse Now, The Conversation, Hammett, One From the Heart, and more.
While these films were being made, I started purchasing income-producing properties—from a Napa Valley vineyard to multi-unit buildings in the city—which both proved to be outstanding investments.
Having experienced success as a principal, I gained a tremendous knowledge in the field of real estate being involved with rentals, condo-conversions, TICs, buying and selling. This experience and interest ultimately led to acquiring my real estate license and involvement with McGuire.
As an experienced McGuire Agent, I help my clients achieve their goals in buying and selling residential real estate, with a specialty for spotting those quintessential "trophy buildings."
